You don't need much to apply for Creativity Works but we do ask for...

To apply for any of the four programmes you must:

1. Between 18 and 24 years of age

Whilst our events and some opportunities are for people of any age, this programme is for people aged 18 to 24. This means you must be within this age bracket when the programme starts on 29 October 2020.

2. From a London borough

This means that your registered address must be within any of London's 32 boroughs.

3. Have a creative and curious mindset

The programme will introduce you to a lot of new tools and different ways of thinking and working. You'll get the most out of it if you can be open-minded, happy to give things a go even if they're out of your comfort zone and learning from your mistakes. We're looking for participants who have the flexibility to explore problems from different angles and are open to experimenting with new ideas and approaches.

4. Have a collaborative attitude

If you want to navigate the world of being a Creative, you'll have to know how to work well in a team and take people along on your journey with you. We'll be looking out for participants who are good at building relationships, working with others, and bringing out their strengths. Our programmes offer an excellent opportunity to build a network of like-minded peers, so a positive and supportive attitude is vital.

5. Have a self-motivated nature

Being creative is one thing but to bring your visions to life and create content, you'll need a lot of passion and drive. We want to see participants who are self-disciplined and are always pushing themselves to improve their knowledge and skills. Alongside the intensive training and expert advice, you'll receive on the programme, there will be a significant element of independent study and you'll need to have the focus and determination to make the most of this opportunity.

To apply for Creativity Works: Digital Product Design, we like you to have:

An obsession with Tech and Digital Design

We aren't focused on grades or experience, but we want participants who are passionate about the digital design process and the endless possibilities of technical innovation. You will have already started building skills in digital design, you might have already made a prototype or started teaching yourself to code, you could just be an avid tech follower, who is inspired by the digital world and wants to be a part of it. Whatever it is, tell us why you want to explore digital design further and what you've done already to build your skills in digital design.

Let us know what first inspired you to take an interest in digital design and what you want to learn next!

To apply for Creativity Works: Content Production, Photography and Podcasting, we like you to have...

A love for creating

We're looking for participants who have a passion for creating. We are expecting you to be obsessed with bringing stories to life and connecting people through content.

We want you to have already demonstrated your interest in expressing your creativity, you may have started your own vlog/podcast, or you might have created striking visuals from your home in lockdown. Either way, make sure you tell us about what you've created so far!

The programme is designed to benefit people taking their first steps as a creative; we aren't focused on grades or experience, just working with participants that want to build a career in content creation and learn the production industry and process. Tell us what you've done so far and how you express your creativity; feel free to mention projects you completed at school, university or with your friends.
