As a studio Intern you want to become a sponge for how to effectively run and manage a brand design studio. We don’t expect you to know how to do this just yet, but we want you to have an attitude that demonstrates your eagerness to learn, getting stuff done and are positive, energetic and extremely collaborative - internally and externally.

Along with these skills, the key is that you have a strong desire for a career in creative project management and a mind-set that makes stuff happen, with an attitude that embraces innovative ways of working within a studio environment.

You will:

  • Support members of the team on the day to day running and setting up of the studio.
  • Oversee the day to day management of the studio creative platform.
  • Support on managing the studio social media channels.
  • Lead on researching for projects
  • Developing project case studies
  • Immerse yourself in order to gain a strong knowledge and understanding of the creative project management process.
  • Begin to understand how to set up suppliers, process invoices and raise PO’s to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
  • Support your team throughout the project process to guarantee that it runs smoothly and to the highest creative quality expected at W+K.
  • Have creative skills and be able to use creative tools - Maybe you’re great at indesign or can quickly edit a social post. Ideally you’re an all rounder who has a knack for creativity.
  • Be able to be resourceful and think outside the box.
  • Begin to develop a knowledge and network of talent across the brand landscape.

You must be aged 16-24 years old, and unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

COMMUNICATION, Communicate clearly and concisely. Take time to consider how best to say what you want to say, mindful of who you are speaking to. Make it clear you are listening. Respond constructively and objectively to comments and questions.

DECISIVENESS, Be aware of what's happening and know when to ask for help. Your aim is to build your understanding of the production and creative processes so eventually, you can make decisions confidently. At this stage, use guidance and support from those around you to make sure the decision is in the best interest of the agency.

EMPATHY, Consider other people's perspectives and listen to others to understand their point of view. Be aware that you may not be right in every situation, and appreciate that other people bring different things to the table.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP, Scare your senior team with your ideas, references and ways of working and push the boundaries of what they think the agency can be.

LEADERSHIP, Show passion for your work and bring positive vibes to the team. Understand how you contribute and take pride in doing what you do as best as you can.
