Junior Community Manager - Creative Lives in Progress

We are looking for someone with a passion for building engaged communities, and a passion for creating positive impact in their work. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to help fellow emerging creatives get support and guidance as they start their careers, who loves connecting people and is able to stay organised and timely in their work.

This role will be both remote and based in our studio in Dalston, London (N1 5AA), which we share with our sister companies It’s Nice That and Anyways Creative.

Creative Lives  in Progress is an inclusive creative careers resource on a mission to transform the way emerging talent access, understand and connect with the industry.

We encourage greater openness, transparency and representation within the creative working world by sharing important advice and insight through content and events, and connecting emerging talent to valuable entry-level opportunities.

Your day will include:

  • Manage communications with our existing communities, including both emerging creatives and community leaders
  • Assist with the promotion of our monthly events 
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of our database of contacts
  • Help record and report on our impact as a company 
  • Assist with our annual audience survey 
  • Assist with the management of our Opportunities Board

You must be aged 16-24 years old, and unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

  • Have a keen interest in building community and helping emerging creatives
  • Have an enthusiasm for creative work and the creative industry.
  • Love getting stuck into a challenge
  • Are proactive, self-motivated and can manage your time
  • Are a good communicator, both written and verbally
  • Are organised and pay close attention to detail

This programme is being delivered as part of the government’s Kickstart Scheme.

To be eligible to apply you must be aged 18 – 24 and claiming universal credit.
