Label Manager

Hub 100 is a music production company founded by the Lo recordings label in order to promote and release an array of unusual music.

This role is an Introduction to a small record label production marketing and social media process.

As a small music company we also run a publishing catalogue and library company.

The scope of the work for the Label Manager is quite wide; ranging from design and social media programming to logistics and production, event and release planning.

The key requirement is flexibility and self motivation. We are very supportive of new employees and new talent and can`t wait to see what you have to offer.

The company is run by two directors and we have two other part time employees and two press officers and social media staff. You would be a welcome addition to our small but very busy team.

The working environment is a warehouse open plan office with several related business. We share information and facilities and communal areas.

Hub 100 is a music production company founded by the Lo recordings label in order to promote and release an array of unusual music.

Lo Recordings has been in existence for over 10 years and is widely regarded as one of the most consistently innovative independent labels.

Recently Lo have developed two new labels: Loaf, for new artists and Loeb, for vinyl 12’s.

We have a sister company Hub 100 Publishing ltd and in the last few years have developed a production music library imprint called Lo Editions in conjunction with BMGZomba production music.

Hub 100 is run by Gavin O’Shea and Jon Tye the founder of Lo Recordings.

Jon works from his home in Cornwall and Gavin runs the London office, with Vincent Oliver and Udi Radomsky.

We are looking for someone who has a knowledge of visual software and social media at a basic level.

We are happy to offer training and support throughout the placement based on your interests.

You must be aged 16-24 years old, and unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

No previous experience of qualifications are required for this position.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Basic Knowledge of Data Entry and Excel, Understanding of Photoshop and Indesign preferred but not essential.
  • An interest in the music industry
  • Basic understanding of social media

This programme is being delivered as part of the government’s Kickstart Scheme.

To be eligible to apply you must be aged 18 – 24 and claiming universal credit.
