HudsonBec Group - Its Nice That (Editoral Assistant)

Editoral Assistant

It’s Nice That believes passionately that creative inspiration is for everyone, and by championing the most exciting and engaging work online, in print and through our events programmes, we want to open up this world to the widest possible audience.

We are looking for two Editorial Assistants to join the team.

The editorial assistant will work within the It’s Nice That editorial team, helping to deliver our weekly editorial output. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in digital media at a publishing company embedded in the creative industry, and to develop solid research and writing skills.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive (you’ll always be encouraged to come to the team with your ideas); willing to learn; and organised and willing to manage their own time.

The role is predominately remote-based working, with the option of using our studio based in Haggerston, East London, if you require a space to work from. You may be occasionally required to visit the studio for team meetings or workshops during your 6-month placement, which will be organised well in advance. From January we may require applicant to work within the office two days a week but can be flexible depending on location.

Other tasks include:

In terms of experience, any experience of writing, research and proofreading will be useful, though not strictly necessary. Also any experience of using a CMS will be a bonus, but again not necessary.
