- No previous paid experience is necessary, however it’s important that applicants are able to demonstrate an interest in the arts and heritage sector through volunteering, self-initiated projects, great research, or demonstration of transferable skills. We want people who can show their motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to developing a career in the arts and heritage sectors
- We are always keen to receive applications from people who are currently underrepresented in the creative and cultural sectors. This includes people from a black, Asian or minority ethnic background; D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse people; those from the LGBTQ+ community, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
- We are much more interested in your potential than we are in your academic qualifications, and therefore do not require a minimum formal qualification for these traineeships. We would steer postgraduates away from applying - this is a Level 3 qualification and as a postgraduate degree is Level 6 or above, it is not likely to be the most appropriate experience for you.
How to apply
This role is offered as part of New Museum School, a Create Jobs development programme offering Londoners 12-month paid traineeships at leading cultural organisations and awarding a Level 3 Diploma at the end of it.
