M.i. Media is a fast-growing media planning and buying agency based in central London. We work with brands to make sure their advertising is seen at the most appropriate time, in the best place and by the right people.

This involves us dealing with lots of different media every day. From TV and Radio stations through to online partners such as Google and Facebook. The ads are actually made by the party people working in creative agencies. However, it is the media agencies who decide where the advert is best placed in order to have the maximum impact. These campaigns can cost many millions of pounds so negotiating the best deal with each media owner is also really important.

  • Attend media owner meetings and training sessions to build knowledge and relationships.
  • Set-up and book media campaigns.
  • Manage the delivery of campaigns from making sure activity appears on time, to the value booked being delivered.
  • Support the team with research on new clients and competitors.
  • Build media negotiation skills, making sure to challenge existing rates and seeking the best value for the client at all times
  • .Analyse the performance of each media channel, working with data from various sources. Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

A Media Assistant should be ready to take on a bit of everything and have a ‘can do’ attitude. It’s all about learning the media ropes, absorbing new skills and working with the team to make our client’s business very successful.

You must be aged 16-24 years old, and unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

What qualities does a Media Assistant need at M.i. Media?
