We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Programme Manager to lead on operational planning and management of activity in the new Good Growth Hub.
About the role
The Senior Programme Manager role will have operational planning responsibilities including management of activity that takes place within the Good Growth Hub space and the annual programme. The role will include the strategic partnership management of delivery partners and will hold budgetary responsibility for delivery funding as well as associated monitoring, evaluation and reporting oversight.
This role offers a great opportunity for an individual who has vision to support A New Direction in building the Hub into a real beacon of best practice across the employment and skills landscape, with a focus on inclusive growth and connecting to the area’s growth sectors in creative and tech industries.
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic individual who can demonstrate multi-stakeholder management, the ability to forecast, plan and to create systems that allow for collective insight into management processes. The candidate will have a passion for working with young people and employers alike, will have experience within this landscape, and will understand the pitfalls and methods of success.
This is a new post within the organisation following the successful tender of a contract with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLCD) to manage the Good Growth Hub space and deliver a programme that will provide a physical home for the LLDC’s East Works (the Legacy Corporation’s skills, employment and enterprise programme).
The Good Growth Hub programme will support local businesses to access local diverse talent whilst connecting local residents to the wealth of employment opportunities being generated by growth, particularly in the cultural, creative, fashion and technology sectors.
